Are you the person who knows everyone in the meat industry or isn't afraid to walk in cold and introduce yourself? MULTIVAC Australia is looking for a driven, commercially minded Area Sales Manager to take ownership of our machine sales business across South Australia.

This isn't a role for someone waiting for leads to come in. We're looking for a genuine hunter, someone who can open doors, build relationships from the ground up, and uncover opportunities where others don't even think to look. If you've worked as a butcher, managed a meat processing operation, sold into the red meat industry, or built strong networks across food manufacturing and processing, we'd love to hear from you.

For this role, the focus is on our equipment and machinery division, working with customers across meat processing, value-added food production, and food manufacturing.

What You'll Be Doing

- Developing new business opportunities across South Australia
- Building relationships with processors, manufacturers, and key industry stakeholders
- Identifying and converting opportunities for MULTIVAC's packaging and processing equipment solutions
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to project delivery




- Working closely with technical specialists and service teams to deliver customer outcomes
- Attending industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Keeping a finger on the pulse of market trends and emerging opportunities

What We're Looking For

We're more interested in attitude, network, and industry credibility than a polished corporate sales background. You might be:

- A former butcher looking for your next challenge
- A meat industry professional with strong industry connections
- A sales professional already working in food processing, packaging, or manufacturing
- Someone who thrives on finding opportunities and creating relationships from scratch

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Strong knowledge of the meat processing or broader food manufacturing industry
- A proactive, self-starting approach
- Confidence engaging with owners, production managers, and senior decision-makers
- The ability to spot opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A willingness to travel throughout South Australia
