Latrobe Valley Village is seeking enthusiastic, proactive Grade 2 Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our skilled teams. Here at LVV you can become part of a dedicated, dynamic and forward-thinking team that will come together for a common goal, the care of our residents. Within LVV we have a Registered Nurse Supervise each shift, along with RN (G2)/EN’s working in areas to aid with wound management, medication administration and attend to resident care needs.

As a Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse in aged care, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and addressing the health needs of our residents.
- Providing emotional support and comfort to residents and their families, ensuring a protected and nurturing workplace. Promoting a positive and inclusive culture within the aged care facility, fostering a sense of community among residents and staff.
- Participating in ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in aged care nursing.
- Support will be provided by a Grade 5 Registered Nurse throughout your shifts.
Essential Qualification:
- Current Practicing Certificate and Registered with APHRA
- Bachelor of Nursing Qualification or Diploma Of Nursing Qualification
- Provision of a current (within 3 years) Police Check Report
- Provision of Commonwealth of Australia Statutory Declaration – (Residency/Offences) upon commencement.
Desired Skills and experience:
- Must be proficient in the use of computer-based systems and the recording of findings accurately and in a timely manner.
- Emotional intelligence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
- Knowledge of aged care or health systems.
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Minimum of 2 years' Aged Care Experience
