The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) is the largest veterinary hospital in the Southern Hemisphere, offering 24/7 specialist and emergency services across Australia. We're currently seeking a full time, Client Service Officer to become the welcoming face and first point of contact for clients and their beloved pets. If you're passionate about customer service, love animals and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment – we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

This is not your average reception job – every day at SASH presents new challenges. You'll be part of a fast-paced, 24-hour emergency and specialist hospital, working 10-hour shifts on a rotating roster. Expect variety, purpose, and the chance to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet clients and manage front-of-house areas, including waiting rooms
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails using multiple systems
- Coordinate and book appointments across various departments
- Act as a liaison between clients and clinical staff
- Process payments (cash, EFTPOS,



and insurance claims)
- Request results, samples, and documentation from third parties

About You:

You're a team player with a proactive mindset, ready to take on a role that is both challenging and deeply rewarding. You thrive in a busy environment and are passionate about providing a high level of service to both clients and their pets.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- At least 2 years' experience in a high-volume reception or administrative role
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong initiative and time management skills
- A resilient and empathetic approach to client care
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- A passion for animals and delivering outstanding customer service
