GreenCollar is seeking a strategic and commercially-minded Head of Nature to lead the development, delivery and growth of our Nature portfolio.

Reporting to the Deputy CEO, this is a leadership role providing technical leadership across biodiversity, natural capital and environmental accounting initiatives, overseeing project pipelines, technical standards, environmental market opportunities and cross-functional delivery teams. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to drive innovation and maintain technical integrity across GreenCollar's NaturePlus®, CarbonPlus™, biodiversity offset and natural capital initiatives, working closely with Demand, Research & Development and Legal teams to shape the future of environmental markets.

While our head office is in Sydney, we're open to candidates from all over Australia.

Position Responsibilities

- Lead the strategic direction, growth and commercial performance of GreenCollar's Nature business, identifying and evaluating emerging opportunities across biodiversity, natural capital, ecosystem services and environmental markets.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of Nature projects, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with quality requirements.
- Provide technical oversight for the design, development, certification and monitoring of NaturePlus®, CarbonPlus™, biodiversity offset and other natural capital projects.
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, delivery plans, budgets, risk registers and reporting systems.
- Lead, support and develop the Nature Team's professional growth,



fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Work with the R&D; team to support the integration of emerging science, policy developments and market requirements into project design.
- Represent GreenCollar in industry forums and technical working groups, and contribute to company-wide strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Contribute to executive reporting and business planning, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on project delivery, environmental outcomes and business performance, and maintaining high standards of record keeping, documentation and quality assurance.

About You

- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex project portfolios.
- Strong project management experience, including planning, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder management and delivery governance.
- Extensive experience in biodiversity, natural capital, environmental markets or ecosystem restoration projects.
- Strong understanding of environmental policy, market mechanisms and regulatory frameworks.
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.




- Exceptional written communication skills, including preparation of technical reports, business cases and executive-level documentation.
- Experience managing external stakeholders, clients and strategic partnerships.
- Knowledge of carbon markets, environmental accounting frameworks (e.g. Accounting for Nature®) or GIS tools highly desirable.
