Responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency to ensure a smooth and consistent kitchen service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare, cook and present menu items to the required quality and consistency standards.
- Ensure all meals are prepared and served in a timely manner during service.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with food preparation, stock rotation and minimising food wastage.
- Ensure all food is stored, handled and labelled correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organised and effective workstation and kitchen.
- Report stock shortages, equipment faults and maintenance issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service.
- Perform other duties reasonably required to support the successful operation of the business.
Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
