Job Description

We are seeking a Senior SuccessFactors Functional Consultant – Employee Central (Time & Leave) responsible for the end‑to‑end functional design, implementation, and delivery of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solutions focused on Time Off, Time Tracking, and absence management across multiple locations and regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

- Time Off (absence types, accruals, entitlements)
- Time Tracking (recording methods, day models, time valuation)
- Work schedules, holidays, and calendars




- Design scalable frameworks that support multi‑location and multi‑country deployment, balancing local regulatory requirements with a global template.
- Translate HR policy, awards, agreements, and operational requirements into clear Employee Central configuration and design artefacts.

Multi‑Location & Global Implementations

- Leave legislation and accrual rules
- Work patterns, shifts, and rostering assumptions
- Time recording practices (positive/negative, clock‑based, exception‑based)
- Support deployments across different workforce groups (salaried, hourly, contingent, shift‑based)
- Manage localisation dependencies while maintaining data and process consistency.

Configuration & Functional Build

- Configure and validate Time Off types, accrual rules, and carry‑over logic
- Configure Time Tracking profiles, day models, time types, and recording variants
- Configure holiday calendars and work schedules
- Configure integration touchpoints with payroll and downstream systems
- Ensure solutions support auditability, controls, and HR service efficiency.

HR Operations & Process Alignment

- Leave administration
- Attendance management
- Manager and employee self‑service processes
- HR Service Delivery and case management alignment
- Design solutions that are operationally practical, easily supported, and clearly understood by HR and line managers.
- Support the definition of BAU processes, governance models, and HR operational handoffs.





Integration & Downstream Impacts

Partner closely with payroll, integration, and technical teams to ensure:

- EC Time & Leave data flows correctly to payroll systems
- Explicit definition of cut‑off times, approvals, and exceptions
- Robust error handling and reconciliation processes
- Identify and manage cross‑module impacts (e.g., Payroll, Compensation, Workforce Planning, Reporting)

Delivery, Testing & Cutover

- Lead or support design workshops and fit‑to‑standard sessions
- Functional specifications and configuration workbooks
- Integration and UAT cycles, including complex scenario testing
- Cutover planning and production readiness

Consulting & Problem‑Solving Capability

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, particularly for complex time valuation or accrual issues
- Edge cases arising from awards, agreements, or local policies

Desirable Experience

Experience working in large, regulated, or complex organisations.

Exposure To

- Workforce planning or analytics use cases
- Regulatory or policy change programs affecting time and leave
- Experience supporting post‑go‑live stabilisation and optimisation initiatives

Certifications

- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification
- SAP SuccessFactors Time Management certification (where applicable)
