About the Role

Reporting to the State Manager, the Area Manager oversees the performance of multiple Autobarn stores across WA, NT, TAS and SA, coaching leaders and driving sales growth while maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Team & Culture: Build a high-performance culture by coaching leaders and managing team performance issues. Foster a positive, values-driven workplace aligned with Autobarn core values.
- Store Standards – Good Process: Ensure consistent execution of operational processes, marketing, and visual merchandising standards. Maintain store integrity through accurate stock management and inventory control.
- Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and teams. Oversee recruitment and manage performance, including implementing PIPs where required.
- Customer Delivery & Business Development: Drive customer satisfaction and service excellence across all stores. Deliver sales growth through promotions, events, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Health and Safety: Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with safety protocols, reporting hazards and incidents promptly. Support safety initiatives, including Toolbox Talks and maintaining up-to-date safety signage.
- Financial & Administration:



Manage budgets and drive profitability through strong financial and KPI oversight. Analyse P&L; and performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve results.
