Description

- Design and deploy secure cloud applications.
- Implement and manage cloud security controls including identity and access management, encryption and network security.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for security threats and respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security best practices into the software development lifecycle and cloud architecture.

Minimum Qualifications

- Extensive experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Familiarity with cloud-native storage and database services.
- Proven experience with serverless and container security.
- Holding relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain/maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.




- Ability to work in a Hybrid environment (3 days in office/site and 2 days flexible).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within the Defence Industry.
- Bachelors or Diploma in a relevant IT field or similar.
