We’re pleased to offer an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to lead our talented Structural team. You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening our technical capability and driving the successful delivery of diverse and challenging projects. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you’ll provide decisive leadership, shape design outcomes and guide your team to deliver robust, efficient and innovative engineering solutions.

This role is perfect for a high energy Principal Structural Engineer who thrives on leading people, lifting technical standards and driving project success. You’ll be a driving force behind expanding our structural capability and shaping the future direction of the discipline.

Responsibilities

- Provide structural technical direction to the business, from project concept through to detailed engineering and commissioning
- Provide mentoring and coaching to the structural team supporting the developing our people
- Ensure Safety in Design principles are applied in all aspects of structural engineering
- Lead internal technical reviews and conduct independent reviews of structural design

Here’s what you’ll need

- Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineer, CPEng / RPEQ Qualification
- Demonstarted experience with engineering design and project experience in the mining, resources or industrial sectors (desirable)
- Solid understanding of Australian standards and construction safety principles
