Position Description
This role is responsible for working in partnership with Payroll & Finance stakeholders to assist with accurate and efficient payroll processing. Your role will include but not be limited to:
- End to end payroll processing for 350+ employees
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation, superannuation, payroll tax and WorkCover requirements
- Completing relevant reconciliation and reporting duties
- Staying updated on payroll regulations and best practices
- Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business, efficiently managing employees queries
- Partner and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the payroll function
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes, however will not be limited to:
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll position
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and payroll compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude
- Strong attention to detail and positive working approach
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Ability to build relationships with internal staff members
