About our client
Our client is an ASX listed organisation with Collins St headquarters. With the opportunity to work largely remote, they are currently looking for a talented Payroll Supervisor to autonomously run their payroll function.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the CFO and Finance Manager and working within a medium sized team, you will be responsible for:
- Deliver the end-to-end payroll function for the organisations corporate payroll in accordance with the business policies and procedures as well as legislative requirements.
- Ensure timely processing of payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Perform specific payroll transactions, ie. pay increments, calculation of back pays, termination calculations, salary packaging deductions, purchase leave etc
- Interpretation of Award/Agreements and contracts in relation to staff entitlements
- Assist with timely processing of month-end tasks including salary and leave accruals and balance sheet reconciliations for relevant payroll accounts
- Assist the Payroll Manager on taxation matters as required
- Provide high level customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring that all possible measures are taken to respond to their needs and requests in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned to enable the organizational goals and targets.
The successful applicant will have
- Prior experience in a similar role, with an end to end knowledge of payroll ideally having used Pronto in the past
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi task and work within a fast faced environment
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
