With a strong focus on innovation, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction, they are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and enhance their quality function.

About the Role
The Quality Manager will be responsible for owning and driving the ongoing improvement of food safety and quality systems across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role, providing guidance to the quality team while partnering closely with operations, commercial, and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and developing the quality function, providing coaching and support to the wider team
- Owning and continuously improving Quality Management Systems and food safety programs
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards
- Managing internal, customer, and certification audits
- Overseeing document control including SOPs, specifications, policies, and quality documentation
- Driving quality expectations across manufacturing and external manufacturing partners
- Supporting product quality, food safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Leading root cause analysis and corrective action processes to reduce defects and improve performance
- Partnering with NPD, operations,



and commercial teams to support product development activities
- Using data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement across quality and manufacturing processes
- Building a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across the business

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience within food manufacturing with strong QA responsibilities
- Experience leading food safety and quality systems within an FMCG environment
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, auditing, and quality management systems
- Experience managing customer and certification audits
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to coach and develop teams
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance quality, cost, and operational outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills across internal and external teams
- Hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for improving food safety and product quality
