Job Connect are urgently seekinga Leading Hand RecyclingOperator for an industry leader in Waste Management in the Ripleyarea.

You will be overseeing a small team of product shredding and destruction staff to receive pallets of goods using a Forklift, separate packaging and products, operate industrial shredders, use Loaders and Skid Steers to collect reclaimables and load/drive HR Trucks to reclamation facilities.

The role offers:

- $45.45/hr (permanent rate) + Penalties – due to increase soon after qualifying period!
- Secure Day Shifts: 6am – 2:30pm Mon – Fri, some occasional overtime
- Direct support and guidance from facility Manager

Ideal applicants will have:

- Experience leading a team in an industrial environment
- Forklift Licence and experience with Counterbalance Forklifts unloading trucks




- HR license and some experience driving a manual HR truck professionally
- Front End Loader RIIMP ticket is ideal but not necessary
- Skid Steer RIIMP ticket is ideal but not necessary

Permanent staff get additional allowances for:

- Multiple plant tickets attract additional $$ per hour
- Above Award Hourly Rate – higher wage
- Industry Allowances
- Meal Allowances
- Wet Weather allowance
- Get a Rostered Day Off - 12 RDO's per year

Note – successful applicants will need reliable transport to get to site as it is not public transport friendly.All applicants will need to pass a Drug Urine Screen prior to start.
