Role Description
Westgold Resources Limited is seeking a dedicated Raise Bore Driller for a full-time, on-site position based in Wangara, WA. As a Raise Bore Driller, your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining raise bore drilling equipment to achieve high-performance outcomes. Day-to-day activities involve setting up and dismantling drilling rigs, monitoring drilling progress, and adhering to safety and environmental protocols.
This role plays a key part in ensuring production targets are met while upholding the highest safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining raise bore equipment, with a strong understanding of drilling procedures and techniques.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental practices specific to mining and drilling operations.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to achieving production targets efficiently.
- Knowledge of gold mining operations and prior experience in underground drilling is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Wangara, WA.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team setting.
- Relevant certifications in mining or drilling operations; a valid driver’s license is a plus.
