About the Rol

We are seeking an experienced Investment Functional Project Manager / Business Analyst for a 3-month contract based in Melbourne. This role is ideal for a seasoned investment management qualified who has strong functional expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience delivering technology and business transformation initiatives within the investment management industry.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project sponsors to drive the successful delivery of investment-related projects while ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into functional solutions.

Key Responsibiliti

- Lead and manage end-to-end investment technology or business transformation project
- Gather, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirement
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery team
- Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping session
- Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, user stories, and process flow
- Coordinate project planning, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencie
- Manage project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication




- Support solution design and ensure alignment with business objective
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and business sign-of
- Assist with implementation planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live suppor
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencie

Required Skills & Experie

- 8+ years of experience as a Functional Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Functional Consultant within Investment Manageme
- Strong understanding of front, middle, and back-office investment operatio
- Experience across one or more of the following: Order & Trade Management, Investment Account, Performance & Attribution
- Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholde
