Role Overview
Droga5, part of Accenture Song, is looking for an experienced Senior Business Director to join our Sydney team.
This is a leadership role for someone who understands that the best creative work is built on strong partnerships, strategic thinking and commercial excellence. As a trusted client advisor and senior business lead, you will help shape agency growth, champion creative ambition, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver work that drives impact for clients and culture alike. Based on the JD, the role is positioned as a strategic leader, business partner and custodian of agency relationships, balancing creative excellence with commercial performance.
You will work closely with Creative, Strategy, Media and Production teams, providing direction on key client partnerships while creating opportunities for growth across a portfolio of accounts.
The role will include:
- Leading and growing senior client relationships, acting as a trusted strategic advisor across key accounts.
- Partnering with Creative and Strategy teams to shape briefs, uncover opportunities and deliver impactful work.
- Providing leadership, coaching and direction to account management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, development and high performance.
- Driving commercial outcomes through forecasting, financial management and identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Championing creative excellence and helping teams bring ambitious ideas to life.
- Leading client presentations, influencing senior stakeholders and communicating recommendations with confidence.
- Building strong partnerships across Strategy, Creative, Media and Production disciplines to ensure seamless delivery of work.

Qualification
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years' experience in account management, client leadership or business management within a creative, media or integrated agency environment.
- Strong experience building trusted relationships with senior marketing and business stakeholders.
- Ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing financial performance, forecasting and scope management.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to identify new opportunities for clients and the agency.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for creativity and experience working closely with creative and strategy teams.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on coaching, mentoring and developing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a high standard of work.
