About the organisation

We are partnering with a well-established healthcare organisation seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their finance team on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large, complex environment where you'll play a key role in supporting financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering activities.

The role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting month-end reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and costing activities while partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insights.

This role will suit a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

- Support month-end processes, including journals, accruals and reconciliations




- Prepare financial analysis and provide commentary on business performance
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Undertake costing analysis and identify financial trends and opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Prepare management reports and ad hoc financial analysis
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance and reporting processes
- Utilise Oracle, Power BI and Magiq to analyse and present financial information

Skills & experience

- Previous experience as a Financial Analyst, Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner
- Strong experience with month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Costing experience is highly regarded
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, curious and collaborative approach to problem solving
- Experience using Oracle, Power BI and/or Magiq is highly desirable
- Healthcare experience or exposure to a large, complex organisation will be highly regarded
