About the role
This is an opportunity to join a business that plays a part in Australia's supply chain, ensuring safe and reliable access to the ingredients that manufacturers and distributors rely on every day. As the SAP Training Specialist, you'll be the person who makes sure people across the business can actually use the system in front of them, confidently and correctly.
The role covers the full SAP suite, so no two weeks will look the same. You'll be designing and delivering training across SD, MM, Supply Chain, Production Planning and FI/CO, working closely with end users to build their capability and comfort with the system.
It's a role that blends technical SAP knowledge with genuine people skills; you'll need to translate complex processes into training that actually lands, whether that's in a classroom, on the floor, or one on one.
Given the nature of the industry, there's an added layer of importance to getting this right. Clear, effective training supports safe, compliant and reliable operations across the supply chain, so your work has a real impact beyond just system adoption.
If you know SAP inside and out, enjoy building training content that people actually remember, and want a role where your work directly supports safe and reliable supply, we'd love to hear from you.
Core Responsibilities
- Training Design: Develop SAP training materials and programs across SD, MM, Supply Chain,
Production Planning and FI/CO modules.
- Delivery: Facilitate training sessions for end users, ranging from classroom-based to floor-based and one on one coaching.
- Needs Analysis: Work with stakeholders to identify skill gaps and tailor training content accordingly.
- Documentation: Create and maintain user guides, quick reference materials and process documentation.
- Change Support: Partner with project and change teams to support system rollouts, upgrades and adoption.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and refine training content to improve effectiveness over time.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- SAP Expertise: Robust working knowledge across the full suite, SD, MM, Supply Chain, Production Planning and FI/CO.
- Industry Experience: Exposure to chemical or ingredient manufacturing and distribution highly regarded.
- Training Experience: Proven background in designing and delivering end user training in an SAP environment.
- Communication: Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to simplify complex processes.
