ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a well-established New Zealand business where you'll play a key role across the finance function while working closely with an experienced Group Accountant. Based in Albany, this is an excellent opportunity for an accounts professional looking for variety, ownership, and the chance to broaden their skills in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Daily banking and account reconciliations
- Weekly financial and operational reporting
- Sales and cost reporting
- Cost pack preparation and administration
- Client account liaison and support
- Payroll processing for employees and contractors
- Employment Hero administration and support
- General finance and accounting support as required

ABOUT YOU

- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or senior accounts position
- Solid reconciliation skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with multi-currency transactions
- The ability to manage your workload and work autonomously




- Confidence communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
- Credit control experience advantageous
- Manufacturing or product-based industry experience beneficial
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
