Role Description This is an in office Merchandiser role based in Geelong, VIC. The Merchandiser will be responsible for visiting retail outlets, ensuring products are correctly stocked, displayed, and priced, and maintaining brand standards across shelves and promotional areas. Daily tasks include setting up and replenishing displays, placing point-of-sale materials, checking inventory levels, and reporting on store conditions and sales opportunities. The role also involves building positive relationships with store staff, supporting in-store sampling activities when required,



and providing feedback on competitor activity and customer responses. The position requires reliable travel to assigned stores, adherence to safety and company guidelines, and accurate completion of store visit documentation.
Qualifications

- Experience in merchandising, retail, or field sales within FMCG or liquor is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage displays, stock levels, and store visits effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with store teams and representing client brands professionally.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and follow structured visit schedules.
- Comfort with physical tasks such as lifting, moving stock, and setting up displays, in line with workplace safety requirements.
- Basic digital skills for using mobile devices or apps to record store data, photos, and visit reports.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, depending on store and promotional needs.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transport to travel between stores in the Geelong, VIC area.
