Full-time ongoing contract, current position is FIFO based in Pilbara with roles open to shifting after the FIFO contract is finalised. Office is based in Pinjarra, WA.
We currently have an prospect for an Environmental Advisor to join our team and take on a role as a back-to-back imbedded in the Pilbara. This position:
- Incorporates environmental compliance and fieldwork, providing advise on environmental issues
- Dynamic scheduled environment, imbedded within the civil construction industry, involved with reviewing and developing environmental documentation and management plans
- Aspects of environmental sampling, soil, groundwater, working with Acid sulphate soils, and natural asbestos deposits, including sample preparation and evaluation of data
- On-site engagement with contractors, clients, attending ongoing project meetings, with potential aspects of Heritage work and fauna spotting
- Regulatory reporting,
Compliance obligation assessment, Procedure and management of onsite environmental risk, site rehabilitation, Priority 1 groundwater regulatory compliance
Required Experience
- At least 1-2 years of prior environmental experience
- Experience working within compliance heavy environmental role and development of associated documentation
- Experience with sample preparation, data analysis, and environmental reporting
- Independent solo working experience and ability to work autonomously
