Job Description

- Prepare and lodge tax returns, including GST, FBT, and income tax.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation and regulations.
- Provide advice on tax-related matters to internal stakeholders.
- Assist in tax planning and strategy implementation.
- Reconcile tax accounts and manage tax reporting processes.
- Support audits and liaise with external tax advisors.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Accountant should have:

- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance,



or a related field.
- Experience in tax compliance and reporting within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of Australian tax legislation, including GST and FBT.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tax software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- A hands-on approach.
