About the Role

This is a dual role. A typical day involves:

- Preparing food and drink.
- Cleaning (including dishes) and maintaining a sparkling hygienic environment.
- Changing up the menu and working with the team and residents to create meals that cater to each individual.
- Keeping records as part of the Food Safety Program.
- Implementing and managing a hygiene maintenance system, including auditing and site inspections, to support operational excellence.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming home for residents.
- Being a positive, warm, empathetic team player with a can‑do attitude.
- Keeping excellent attention to detail in health and hygiene standards and complying with Work, Health and Safety principles.
- Remaining on feet all day and demonstrating strong organisational skills.

Qualifications and requirements:

- Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to health and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate with residents.
- Experience carrying out hygiene audits and inspections.
