Be Recruitment is proud to partner with Sydney Region Aboriginal Corporation (SRAC) to recruit a Child & Family Services Manager to lead the implementation of the organisation's new Family Preservation program.
This is a rare opportunity to join an established Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) as it expands its Family Services portfolio. You'll play a key role in establishing the program, building a high-performing team and embedding culturally safe, trauma-informed practice that delivers lasting outcomes for children and families.

About the Role
You’ll provide leadership across SRAC's Family Services portfolio, including Family Preservation, Community & Family Support (CAFS) and Safe & Strong programs. Leading a multidisciplinary team you'll focus on:
- Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team
- Embedding culturally safe, trauma-informed practice
- Providing reflective supervision and coaching
- Managing program performance, compliance and funding outcomes
- Building strong relationships with DCJ, community partners and key stakeholders
- Support staff wellbeing while leading practice across complex child protection matters.
- Driving continuous improvement and service excellence
About You
You’ll bring:
- Minimum 3 years' leadership experience within Family Preservation, Child Protection, Intensive Family Support or a related setting
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and child protection
- Experience managing risk, complexity and staff performance
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline (or significant equivalent experience)
