SENIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

I am seeking a family law attorney to take on a leadership role who is aiming for a partnership. Our practice is growing exponentially, and expanding our team is a necessary measure to adapt. Minimum Qualifications:

Family Law experienceJuris Doctorate (JD) DegreeMust be an active member and in good standing with the Florida BarAble to work independently and communicate effectively with clients and the teamPossess a demonstrated history of excellence in their career, as well as a passion for serving clients.Basic computer hardware and software, such as Microsoft Office: Excel / Outlook / Word, knowledge, preferablyAdvanced knowledge in client confidentiality, client contact, legal administration, legal compliance, litigation, administrative writing, documentation, word processing, verbal communication, and client relationsAbility to understand complex legal documents / formsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with Zoom and Video Conferencing

Key Responsibilities Include:

Advise client on their legal rights in matters and draw up legal documents about their caseAnalyze probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedentsManage workload of casesIndependently handle complex child custody disputes and divorces, including issues of domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental healthProvide empathy and compassion for our clients, while also empowering them to take control of their own livesRegularly represent clients in court including motions, hearings, and trialsNegotiate settlements in formal mediation or informal settingsPerform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motionsManage and collaborate with team members including Paralegals and other professional staff
