We’re on the lookout for an experienced Welding Compliance & Operations Coordinator to join our client in Manawatū-Whanganui. This is a key role combining welding supervision, compliance, and operational coordination, supporting both workshop and project delivery.
You’ll take the lead on welding supervision while helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly across logistics, production, procurement and QA.
A key focus will be maintaining AS/NZS 5131 CC3 quality systems. With strong foundations already in place, we’re looking for an experienced RWC who can take ownership and drive standards through audit and beyond.

What you’ll do:

- Act as responsible welding coordinator
- Oversee welding compliance to WPS, AS/NZS 5131 (CC3) and ISO 3834
- Manage QA documentation, traceability and welder qualifications
- Coordinate testing, certifications and inspections




- Support workshop operations, logistics and production flow
- Contribute to quality improvement and H&S; standards

What you need:

- HERA Welding Supervisor qualification, or equivalent, is essential
- Proven RWC experience
- Solid knowledge of AS/NZS 5131 & ISO 3834
- Background in heavy fabrication / structural steel
- Ability to read drawings and manage QA processes
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong coordination skills
