The Perioperative department comprises six modern theatres and a day procedure unit with two endoscopy suites and two minor day procedure theatres. The role offers casual Theatre Technician shifts to support round‑the‑clock service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance of the theatre environment to ensure a smooth and effectively run shift.
- Support a proactive, collaborative team setting.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience working as a grade 4 or higher Theatre Technician.
- Certificate IV in Health – Operating Theatre Technician Practice, or an equivalent qualification.
- Availability to work at least 1–2 shifts per fortnight.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional patient‑centred care and the ability to nurture friendly,
respectful relationships.
- Evidence of, or in the process of obtaining, a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
