About The Role

To support EDU’s current growth, we have created 2 current positions for International Course Advisors at either our Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne Campuses.

You will be responsible for converting leads, from potential international students, into enrolments, for either EDU’s VET entity, ALG, or Higher Education entity - Ikon Institute.

The role will promote courses to prospective international students and assist them with information that supports their enrolment.

Key Responsibilities Engagement with prospective students

- Support and nurture prospective student leads.
- Engage directly with prospective students and guide them in selecting the most appropriate course and study pathway.
- Provide accurate information and advice on Ikon’s and ALG’s courses and enrolment policies to prospective students.
- Support prospective students in completing their enrolment and collaborate with the Admissions team to obtain additional information.

Market feedback

- Provide feedback on market trends and potential opportunities for partnerships and enrolments.
- Gather feedback from prospective students and field interactions, reporting insights to the Manager, and Course Advisors.

Reporting And Other

- Record accurate data in the CRM system in a timely manner.
- Prepare operational reports on the performance of the lead funnel, identifying relevant issues.
- Organise and deliver “Product Discovery” sessions with academic staff and other relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in implementing changes.

Education, Experience, And Skills





- Bachelor qualification or higher
- At least 3 years experience in a sales role within the International Market of Higher Education
- Proven ability to nurture leads from first contact to conversion and build long-term client relationships
- Experience with Salesforce, Hub Spot, or other CRM systems
- IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
- Strong presentation skills for delivering engaging and informative sessions.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- High-level understanding of key requirements of relevant regulatory frameworks, especially the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.
- Positive attitude, results-focused, and strong attention to detail.
- A valid drivers license and a personal vehicle
