Position Summary

We are looking for anexperienced Intelligence Analyst to join our Global Instant Messagingclient’s Trust & Safety team.

As an Embedded Intelligence Analyst,you will besupportinga 24/7 intelligence operation and willberesponsible foridentifying, investigating, and assessing threats and trendsimpactingour client’s platform, operations, strategy, and brand reputation.

Although minimal, this position is subject to viewing graphic content.

This is a fully remote role based in theAustralian Western Standard Timezone, working standard business hours from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, with the schedule rotatingon a monthly basis.

This is a fixed-term position, running through to the end of July 2027.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

- Use all-source intelligence (including alert feeds,traditional and social media, and in-house sources)



tomonitorsecurity incidents and trends within the client’s areas of operation and locations to assess thelikely impacton staff, assets, operations, events, and reputation.
- Support the client’s trust and safety function tomonitorand respond to issuesimpactingthe
- rehearsed procedures.
- Maintain visibility on employee movements and their proximity to notable incidents and events, advising accordingly through required reporting methods.
- Participate in training and drills to rehearse incident preparation and response SOPs.
- Support internal stakeholders with ad hoc reporting on geopolitical developments, scenario planning,forecastsand other related topics.
- Research and analyse a wide range of information to create insightful analysisin accordance withstrict deadlines, including presenting and incorporating relevant data and visualisations.
- Respond to urgent official requests for action on behalf of the client, ensuring accuracy, compliance, andtimelydelivery.
- Conduct all-source investigations into people and events toidentifyrisk indicators,establishtimelines, and support operational decisions.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Ability to interpret, organize, and visualize data with high-level competency in MS Office and Google Workspace toolsor Notion Workspace, plus preferred experience with analytical software, OSINT tools, or mass notification systems (Navigator,Alert Media).
- Ability todetermine how geopolitical and security threats couldimpactprivate sector operations, travellers, and sites.
- Ability toidentifythreatening language,utilizeOSINT and social media investigative techniques,identifytrends,andthink ‘outside the box’ when developing solutions.




- Excellent research skills with ability to rapidly digest, evaluate, and synthesizelarge quantitiesof information from diverse sources whilemaintainingexcellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical flair with ability to provide rigorous, creative insights into complex situations and assess security implications for business operations.
- Robust personal initiative with ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver solutions under minimal guidance whilemaintainingquality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Security, Intelligence, Risk, Geopolitics, or other related disciplines; or equivalent professional experience. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 1-3 years' experience in an intelligence or customer-focused role in geopolitical risk, corporate security, government, law enforcement, or similar due diligence investigations.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Additionallanguage skills are preferred.

Interview Process:

- Initial call with our Talent Acquisition team member
- Timed written assessment (arranged at the time that suits you) to test writing and analytical capability
- Panel interview with some of the team members and hiring managers at Sibylline
- Meet and Greet with the client
