Montes Beachbar & Restaurant is looking for a dynamic, motivated Head Chef to take charge of our kitchen and help drive the next stage of our beachfront restaurant.

We are after someone who is hands‑on, organised, creative and calm under pressure — a chef who can lead a small team, create great food, manage service, control costs and bring fresh energy to the venue.

You’ll be working in an absolute beachfront location at beautiful Montes, with stunning sunsets, tropical surroundings and a growing reputation as one of the Whitsundays’ hidden gems.

The role includes:

- Leading and motivating the kitchen team
- Maintaining high food standards and consistency
- Menu input and specials creation




- Stock control, ordering and cost management
- Running smooth lunch and dinner services
- Keeping a clean, organised and qualified kitchen
