Description
- Manage and oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead ASX reporting requirements, including the preparation and review of Appendix 4D, annual and half-year financial reports, and supporting disclosures.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare and manage budgets effectively.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
- Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA.
- Proven experience in financial management within the retail industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
