About The Role

Join our Perioperative Services team as an Operating Room Assistant and play a vital role in supporting safe, high-quality patient care within the operating theatre environment. In this hands-on role, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth, timely and effective preparation and operation of theatre services.

As the Operating Room Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Transportation of patientsPreparing operating theatres as per theatre schedulesPreparation and position of patientCleaning of operating suite as per guidelinesMaintain compliance with appropriate theatre apparel as required and as per ACORN StandardsWork as part of a multidisciplinary perioperative services team
