Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and lead a team of industrial sewing machinists and production staff.
- Plan daily production schedules to ensure customer orders and manufacturing targets are achieved.
- Monitor productivity, workflow, and labour allocation to maximise efficiency.
- Ensure all footballs meet Sherrin’s strict quality standards before progressing through production.
- Train, coach, and mentor current and existing staff in sewing techniques, quality requirements, and safe work practices.
- Conduct quality inspections and resolve production or workmanship issues.
- Coordinate with planning, printing, cutting, and finishing departments to maintain smooth production flow.
- Maintain accurate production records, KPI reporting, and attendance.
- Enforce workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised production environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste,



and improve quality.

Key Skills & Experience:

- Experience supervising a manufacturing or sewing production team.
- Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines and production processes.
- Ability to manage production targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with quality assurance and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in production reporting and inventory/workflow coordination.
