ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Production & Manufacturing Intern will assist the production team in carrying out day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards, Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The intern will gain hands-on experience in production processes, quality assurance, equipment operation, inventory handling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY ROLES:

- Assist in the operation and monitoring of production machinery and manufacturing equipment.
- Support the production team in manufacturing, packaging, and labeling products according to specifications.




- Prepare and verify raw materials by weighing and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Perform in-process quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
- Maintain production records, batch documentation, and quality control reports.
- Identify equipment issues and report maintenance requirements to the Production Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, GMP, and company SOPs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production and storage areas.
- Assist in production planning, scheduling, and coordination to achieve daily production targets.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Support Research & Development (R&D;) activities, including product testing and process improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in projects focused on waste reduction, product rework, and process optimization.
- Develop practical knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality assurance, inventory control, and production management.
