Commencing early to mid-January 2027, for approximately 3 months, this role offers the opportunity to work in the thriving Mildura region, at a large-scale winery with fruit sourced from many of Australia’s best known wine regions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of Australia’s largest wine regions and further your knowledge of Australian Wine Styles.
The Vintage Winemaker role includes:
- Shared responsibility for maintaining all vintage day-to-day winemaking functions
- Assist in effective management of winemaking process stream and close coordination with other departments
- Playing a key role in quality control and ensuring wines are always within specification
Skills And Experiences
The successful applicant will have:
- Minimum 3rd year level degree in Oenology
- 1+ years’ vintage experience
- A developing palate and a passion for wine
- Able to work on a rotating roster of day and night shifts
- Intermediate computer skills and experience with the MS Office Suite of applications
- A team player that thrives in a diverse workplace
