Key Responsibilities
- Assisting frontline staff with after-hours and emergency situations by providing logical and calculated decisions to ensure customer and staff safety
- Follow the escalation procedures as required
- Provide accurate information for reporting on calls, incidents and customer updates
- Assist employees with unplanned leave outside of normal business hours and fill the shifts with current staff
- Assist our rostering team with timekeeping, shift fill and maintaining effective rosters in line with our Enterprise Agreements
- Recognise patterns of absence in staff rosters and elevate any concerns for review.
- Assist the rostering team with inbox maintenance and other duties as required
This role offers scheduling across a range of days, including weekends and public holidays, making it ideal for candidates with solid weekend and afternoon availability. While the primary focus is on these peak times, there may occasionally be a need for additional availability outside of standard hours on an ad hoc basis.
The position is based at our Lavington office and does not offer a work from home option.
About You
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, managing priorities under pressure while maintaining a positive, understanding and professional approach.
- Previous experience in the community services sector and/or disability or a call centre environment
- Ability to make decisions and communicate these decisions effectively
- Strong administration skills to create, update and maintain customer information in a variety of platforms
- Tech-savvy with the ability to pick up new systems and software with ease.Experience in Alayacare is highly desirable
- Ability to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Clearance before commencement
- Current Driver’s License
