An opportunity exists for an experienced Economic & Project Evaluation Specialist to lead the development, analysis and assurance of business cases for major transport infrastructure programs. This role provides strategic advice on investment decisions, economic appraisal and funding submissions while supporting government approval processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and assurance of business cases and economic appraisals.
- Conduct investment assessments including options analysis, benefit-cost analysis and project evaluation.
- Provide strategic advice on economic appraisal methodologies, benefits realisation and post-completion evaluation.
- Integrate traffic, engineering, planning, environmental, cost and risk inputs into investment recommendations.
- Prepare executive briefings, funding submissions and investment recommendations.
- Engage with project teams, consultants and senior stakeholders.
- Develop business case frameworks, templates and quality assurance processes.
- Represent the business case function in governance forums and project committees.
