Responsible for supporting the development and continuousimprovement of the City’s asset planning framework, you will playan important role in ensuring infrastructure assets are planned,prioritised and managed effectively throughout their lifecycle. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will contribute tothe preparation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of assetmanagement plans, lifecycle models, capital works programs, andlong-term financial forecasts, while supporting the ongoingassessment and improvement of the City’s asset managementmaturity.

You will utilise asset data, lifecycle forecasts and assetmanagement systems to support evidence-based decision-making andlong-term financial planning. By analysing asset performance,condition, risk and service level information, you will help informinvestment decisions,



support continuous improvement initiativesand contribute to sustainable service delivery outcomes alignedwith organisational objectives and community needs.

You possess well-developed analytical and problem-solvingskills, along with solid written and verbal communicationabilities. You have demonstrated experience in asset planning andlifecycle modelling, with a sound understanding of asset managementprinciples at an operational and tactical level. A currentand valid ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence is essential for this role.

To be considered for this role you must address thefollowing selection criteria. You will be required to respondto each criterion below as you lodge your applicationonline.

- Demonstrated experience in asset planning and/orinfrastructure program development, which may include thepreparation and maintenance of asset management plans,lifecycle modelling, capital works program planning, or similarasset investment activities
- Sound knowledge of asset management principles, practices,and frameworks, with the ability to apply these in a localgovernment or infrastructure environment
- Experience in analysing asset data and using assetmanagement systems to support planning, forecasting, anddecision-making
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, witha high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills,including the ability to build effective working relationships,engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders,



andprepare clear, concise reports, correspondence anddocumentation
- Experience in supporting long-term financial planning,including lifecycle forecasting, renewal modelling, and budgetdevelopment
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills,with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliveroutcomes within required timeframes

We are offering a salary range of $102,707 to$110,461 per annum (depending on knowledge and skill)and:

- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to afurther 5%
