The National Tax team is one of the largest and most highly regarded practices. Led by industry‑leading partners, the corporate tax group advises on complex and high‑profile transactions.

Your Role

Working closely with national corporate/direct tax partners and senior team members, you will handle tax structuring, financing, tax due diligence, contract drafting, employment taxes and general income tax advice. Many matters involve corporate income tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions, divestments and capital reorganisations.

More About You

- At least 3 years’ experience post‑admission and technical experience in tax
- Prior work in a law firm, Big‑4 professional services firm, or a government tax role




- Strong plain‑English drafting skills and ability to explain complex issues to clients clearly and concisely
- Unwavering attention to detail and technical excellence
- Experience conducting income tax research and providing written and verbal income tax advice to clients
- Client‑focused and committed to forming enduring relationships
- Thrives in a highly cooperative environment
