We are currently looking for a casual/part time assistant surveyor to join our team.

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
- Experience as a survey assistant with or without formal qualifications
- However applicants without survey experience but with construction experience are encouraged to apply
- Currently/or beginning to study Surveying
- Driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Outstanding communication skills
- A genuine desire to have a career in the surveying and construction industries
- Be trustworthy and reliable
- Self motivated with good problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and take advantage of the opportunities that will be offered to them

- Road Widenings & Associated Infrastructure works
- Level & Feature Surveys for council submissions of proposed construction works
- Multi Storey Buildings
- Private dwellings
- Wind Farms
Using the following Survey equipment:
- Robotic Total Stations
- GPS Rovers
- Drone/Aerial Surveys
Duties will include:
- Assisting the Survey party leaders in field-based tasks including but not limited to
- Setout for construction
- Level & Feature Surveys
- As constructed Surveys
- Interpreting construction plans
Through this work the successful candidate will be gaining exposure to all aspects of survey and building a skill set that will enable them to
- Carry out survey field work
- Interpret construction plans
- Perform surveying and spatial computations
- Perform Level and feature surveys for design & council planning
- Deliver As constructed surveys following completion of works
- Produce Plans of a high quality
- Complete Settlement monitoring surveys
- GPS Rovers & providing support for machine guidance for excavators and plant
