Operating with the financial backing and stability of a major corporate group, they offer a fast paced, factory based workplace managing diverse projects for Tier 1 contractors across major infrastructure, commercial, and resources projects.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of manufacturing projects (ranging from $100k to $1M in value).

This is an internal operations role based 95% in a controlled workshop environment, taking full ownership of projects from initial sales handover through engineering design, production, testing, and final delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage project delivery from initial PO handover to FAT/SAT testing and dispatch, ensuring alignment with contracts, scope, and budget.
- Review contract documentation, submit RFIs, EOTs, NODs, and variation claims within contractual timelines.
- Hand over projects to the design team, review detailed engineering drawings, and issue ITPs/ITTPs.
- Oversee equipment procurement to secure the best pricing and delivery times, then coordinate directly with workshop managers and production teams to keep builds moving efficiently.
- Utilise ERP systems (Pronto) to track job costings, manage variances,



forecast margins, and report regularly to operational leadership.
- Maintain clear communication with client project managers, Tier 1 contractors, internal engineering, and workshop teams.
- Ensure all builds comply with Australian Standards, company policies, and statutory quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

WHAT YOU BRING

- Proven track record as a Project Manager within the electrical manufacturing, switchboard, or industrial equipment sectors.
- Strong ability to read and interpret basic electrical diagrams, project specifications, and tender documentation.
- Solid grasp of commercial project management, variation management, and cost control.
- Ability to manage up, down, and across multiple client stakeholders in a high pressure, high volume setting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Pronto experience is an advantage).
- High problem solving capability with a sharp focus on maintaining project schedules and margins.
