About the Role
I’m looking for an experienced Flood Engineer to join a busy and supportive team in Sydney. This is a high-visibility role where you’ll lead flood-risk and water management work across a variety of development and infrastructure projects, with solid technical challenges, excellent exposure and opportunities to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Prepare flood studies, floodplain management plans, and risk assessments
- Assess development impacts and ensure government compliance upstream and downstream of sites
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver timely and quality solutions
- Coordinate resources including internal teams and external consultants to meet project plans
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal regulations and quality control standards
- Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and managing variations as projects evolve

What You’re Bringing
- 6+ years’ experience in civil/flood engineering or water-related projects
- Proficiency in tools like TUFLOW, DRAINS/XP-Rafts, MUSIC




- Excellent report writing and strong ability to communicate technical flood-risk information clearly
- Solid understanding of local government, regulatory frameworks, and construction practices
