Job Description

Health & Safety students are invited to join our vacation student intake for the 2026/27 summer university break. This program offers practical, hands‑on experience across multiple mining sites.

Programme Details

Duration: 12 weeks, from November 2026 to February 2027.

Location: Duketon operations, Northeastern Goldfields, Western Australia.

Roster: Fly‑In Fly‑Out (FIFO), 8 days on – 6 days off, with travel between Perth and Duketon provided.

Compensation: Fully paid, with on‑site accommodation and meals included.

What You Will Do

- Collaborate with experienced professionals on site
- Contribute to day‑to‑day operations and project work
- Develop practical skills relevant to your discipline
- Gain exposure to different areas of the business
- Receive guidance, feedback and support throughout the program
- Own meaningful projects from the outset

Eligibility Requirements

- Valid Australian working rights for the duration of the program
- Current enrollment in a tertiary qualification
- Developing proficiency in soft skills: communication, organisation, analysis,



problem‑solving
- Willingness to work site‑based in a remote location at Duketon
- Availability to complete the program between December 2026 and February 2027
- Adaptability and teamwork orientation
- Commitment to developing technical skills relevant to mine operations
- Willingness to learn and apply new concepts to improve team efficiency
- Ideally, hold a WA manual driver’s licence and Senior First Aid certification
