Celebrity Cruises is a global, multi‑billion dollar, luxury cruise line based in Miami, Florida with local offices in Sydney. The company operates a fleet of fifteen ships sailing the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Asia, South America, Galapagos, and Australia/Current Zealand. Since 2010, Celebrity Solstice series ships have sailed the summer season in Australia and New Zealand, sourcing both local and international guests to the region. In 2023, Celebrity is set to revolutionise cruising in our region as we bring Celebrity Edge down under for her highly anticipated inaugural season. The Australia and New Zealand region contributes nearly 60,000 guests annually to the Celebrity brand, 50% of which travel internationally. The brand revealed the third of its five Edge Series ships, voted by Time Magazine as “One of the Best Places on Earth,” and launched Celebrity Flora, elevating the destination experience and commitment to sustainability in the Galapagos. In 2018, Celebrity began its “Revolution” project, investing in upgrades to the Millennium and Solstice series of ships. The brand aspires to “Open up the World” through extraordinary destinations, culinary excellence, intuitive service, luxurious accommodations, and stunning design. In 2020, Celebrity Cruises won over 160 awards in the leisure, travel, hospitality, innovation, and cruise line categories. The company is inclusive and celebrates talent across the board – from gender equality to diversity of crew and guests, including hosting the largest Pride at Sea celebrations. The brand cares about its people, guests, and the environment and has strong stories to tell in all these areas.
