The Team
This position works over multiple sites, predominantly Millbrook Rise Centre (New Norfolk) and Mistral Place (Hobart). These centres are collaborative teams that work with consumers, their friends and families in an individualized recovery journey. The psychologist will play a central role as part of the multidisciplinary team to assist stakeholders.
The Role
You will undertake the delivery of quality care to clients of the Adult Inpatient and Extended Treatment Mental Health Service based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multi‑disciplinary framework. You will also work within your role as an individual and as part of a Multidisciplinary Team to provide a specialist assessment and treatment service to clients and their families or carers.
You will need
- Deliver a comprehensive clinical service including assessment, case management and individual therapies, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers.
- Provide evidence‑based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems,
including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs and/or specialised reports.
- Function as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation to other team members as required.
Salary and Benefits
$117,272 to $126,182 per annum (pro‑rata). Employer 12% superannuation contribution is included.
- Salary package includes living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other benefits if eligible.
- Access to salaries beyond $123,487 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.
