Day to Day Role Looks Like
- Supporting and connecting with clients, assisting with day‑to‑day in‑home tasks such as cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client’s care plan
- Transport to appointments and shopping
- Meal preparation
- Social support or respite for family/carers
- Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
To Be Successful in This Role You’ll Need
- A genuine passion for providing high‑quality care to older Australians in the community
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
- Positive communication skills
- A reliable team player
- An understanding of workplace health and safety
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
- An Australian driver’s licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
