Remuneration : $59.59 - $72.63 per hour

You’ll join the Alternate Care Clinic (ACC) at Redbank House, a highly specialised community mental health service within Perinatal, Child and Youth Mental Health Services (PCYMHS).

What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Psychologist in ACC, you will deliver specialist, trauma‑informed psychological care to children and young people with high and complex needs in Out‑of‑Home Care, working systemically across their care networks.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and systemic assessments
- Design and coordinate multi‑systemic treatment plans across care settings
- Deliver specialist interventions including trauma, attachment and family‑based therapies
- Provide consultation, advocacy and education to carers, agencies and schools
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and broader service system

Qualification
Accredited post‑graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology
Registration
Full registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Selection Criteria
- Extensive experience in working therapeutically with children and young people with significant behavioural, emotional, mental health and/or psychosocial difficulties.
- Clinical experience working with children or adolescents in out‑of‑home‑care and/or the child protection system.
- Specialised knowledge in areas such as trauma,
attachment and systemic interventions including experience in providing family therapy and an awareness of evidenced based therapies such as TF‑CBT, DBT, EMDR.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and with other service providers to achieve optimal outcomes for children, young people and their families.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide consultation, supervision and training to other professionals including more junior health professionals and students.
- Current valid NSW drivers licence and willingness to use it for work purposes.
