About the Role

Myndshift Group is currently seeking experienced operators with strong hard‑rock open‑cut mining backgrounds to join the mine re‑start at Wonawinta near Cobar, NSW.

All Round Operators will support the road crew, haul road construction, pit establishment and associated civil works during the ramp‑up phase before transitioning into production mining roles as operations progress.

Loader Operator (ROM) will operate the 980 Loader across the ROM pad and perform site maintenance duties, keeping stockpiles and site infrastructure running smoothly.

Equipment: D10 Dozers, CAT 14M Graders, Komatsu 740 Watercarts, 30T Excavators with Tilt Bucket & Rock Breaker; 980 Loader.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in hard‑rock mining environments




- Experience operating relevant equipment for your role
- Sound understanding of open‑pit production processes
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high‑performing team environment
- Must complete pre‑employment medical and national police check
