Are you a patient-focused General Practitioner looking for an chance to practise high-quality medicine in a supportive regional community? We are seeking a dedicated Vocationally Registered General Practitioner with skin cancer qualifications to join our modern, well-established practice in Kingaroy, Queensland. You will provide comprehensive general practice services while performing skin cancer checks and procedures in a collaborative, patient-centred environment. Working alongside experienced GPs, nurses, specialists and administrative staff, you will help deliver exceptional clinical outcomes and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality consultations, diagnosis and treatment across a broad range of general practice presentations.
- Perform skin cancer assessments, procedures and management.
- Order and interpret diagnostic investigations.
- Refer patients appropriately to specialists and allied health providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement, accreditation and clinical audit activities.
- Collaborate effectively with the practice team to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Maintain professional standards through ongoing education and compliance with current clinical guidelines.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Current unrestricted registration with the Medical Board/AHPRA.
- Vocational Registration (FRACGP or FACRRM or equivalent).
- Current medical indemnity insurance.
- Skin cancer qualifications and procedural experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
