Role Overview:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Boilermakers to join our MEM team. In this hands-on role,
you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile plant equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Your expertise will help keep Australia’s mining industry moving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication, welding, and repairs on mobile plant equipment, including:
- Bucket refurbishments
- Tray repairs
- General fabrication work
- Conduct inspections and diagnose faults on mining equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to deliver high-quality repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide input on maintenance schedules and strategies to optimise equipment performance.
About You:
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent.
- 3–5+ years of experience in mobile plant maintenance or similar roles.
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including flux core and inner-shield welding.
- Experience with bucket refurbishments, tray repairs, and structural work on heavy equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence (HR licence preferred).
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance.
